NHBC noted “signs” of private sector growth, recording 68,987 registrations compared to 62,291 in 2023. Those for the affordable and rental sector dipped 2% to 45,824, but NHBC said this was the second highest completion figure it had ever recorded for the sector. Total new home completions stood at 124,144, a 7% decline on 2024.
