Prime London pipeline increases 70%

The planning pipeline for prime residential development has soared 70% in the past year, according to the global built asset consultancy EC Harris.<br> <br> EC Harris' London Prime Residential Development Pipeline report reveals that more than 15,000 units worth more than £38 billion are currently in line for development over the next decade.<br> <br> The report shows that 125 schemes are presently at various stages of site acquisition, planning and construction with a total floor area of almost 20 million square feet –equivalent to the size of the Olympic Park. Two of the largest upcoming schemes are major regeneration developments planned for Earls Court and Battersea Power station-less traditionally "prime" areas. <br>
