Housebuilders have been reporting mainly strong results over the summer period. <br> <br> Bovis Homes has more than doubled its pre-tax profit, from £3.5 million last year to £8.1 million this year. <br> <br> Persimmon said that despite the quiet summer period, weekly sales for the period from June 30 2011 were running 4% ahead of last year. <br> <br> Taylor Wimpey commented that it was on target to deliver double digit operating margin as it continues its drive to improve this area of the business ahead of volume growth. <br> <br> Bellway’s legal completions have risen 7.1% over the past year.<br> <br>
