Planning targets set for next year

<b></b>The government has announced a range of new targets for the Planning Inspectorate to deliver next year. <br>For planning appeals decided by written representation, 80% must be decided within 16 weeks, while 80% of all planning appeals decided by hearing must be decided within 22 weeks. The figure for 80% of planning appeals decided by inquiry will be 30 weeks. <p></p><p>The inspectorate must provide an inspector for a development plan inquiry in at least 90% of cases on the date requested by the local authority, provided that the objection period has ended and at least six month&amp;’s notice has been given.</p><p>Full details on www.dtlr.gov.uk</p><p><br> </p><p><b>New Phase 2b of Greenwich Millennium Village has been granted planning permission. It comprises 186 new homes - a mix of apartments and houses - set around two courtyards. </b></p><p><b>The apartments rise to a high of eight storeys, reducing to two storeys. There are 76 one-bedroomed apartments, 69 two-bedroomed apartments and 26 three-bedroomed apartments all for private sale, along with clusters of a total of 15 affordable houses</b></p><p>&amp; </p><p></p>
