Persimmon’s cfo to leave in September

<p><span>Jason Windsor, Persimmon’s chief financial officer, is to leave the housebuilder to become cfo of global investment company abrdn.</span></p> <p><span>Windsor will remain with Persimmon until September 1. Group ceo Dean Finch will then take interim responsibility for the finance function, with group financial controller Mike Smith supporting him.</span></p> <p><span>The business said it had begun the process of appointing a new cfo and would update the market in “due course”.</span></p> <p><span>Persimmon’s chairman Roger Devlin said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Jason for the contribution he has made supporting Persimmon's drive to build a strong and sustainable business, providing good quality homes for families across the country.</span></p> <p><span>“We wish Jason the very best for the future and we look forward to appointing a new cfo in the coming months."</span></p> <p><span>Windsor commented: "I have very much enjoyed my time at Persimmon.
