Oregon opens new factory and expands sales team

Independent timber frame designer, manufacturer and erector Oregon Timber Frame, has consolidated its manufacturing presence in England with the opening of new premises in Burton-upon-Trent and the appointment of Russell Kendell to lead its sales activities in England.<br> <br> Selkirk-based Oregon first established a manufacturing base in Burton in 2010 and will continue to service English sites from its new, 2,000m2, 300-unit per annum, manufacturing premises at Watson Street, Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire.<br> <br> As well as targeting volume housebuilders and social housing providers, Oregon also provides services to regional and local builders and contractors, offering its insulated "Intelligent Panel" system, OregonIP which enables housebuilders to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes levels on a cost effective, fabric first basis.<br> <br> Oregon also provides a complete energy compliance service through its technical arm, Oregon Technical Services, offering U values, SAPs and EPCs, 3D linear thermal modelling and airtightness testing for all standard forms of construction.<br> <br> www.oregon.co.uk
