Taylor Wimpey and London & Quadrant have been chosen to build the first of five new Olympic legacy neighbourhoods on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The partnership will deliver Chobham Manor, which will sit between the Athletes' Village and the Lee Valley VeloPark (currently the location of the Basketball Arena). The London Legacy Development Corporation said that Chobham Manor would mark the return to London's "traditional family neighbourhoods, set within tree-lined avenues". Meanwhile, East Village, the new name for the Athletes' Village, will be delivered by around spring 2013, producing 2,818 new homes in total.
