Old housebuilders never die…

Former Laing Homes md and present chairman of Explore Living Paul Healey has organised an “Old Housebuilders Lunch” club which assembled in London last month to reminisce on the good old days. <br> <br> Joining him this year were Frank Scanlon (retired Bellway N London md now at Carey’s); Paul Phipps (formerly housing director of Taylor Woodrow and now running his own business, Whiteacre); Trevor Britton (formerly md of Barratt North London and now at Denova Homes); John Low (former ceo of the Beazer Group); Karl Pickering (former md of Barratt Eastern Counties and now md of Explore Living); Paul Flello (former md of Tay Homes and now runs his own business, Kensington Residential); Lee Bishop (divisional md Taylor Wimpey); and Mike Stansfield (formerly md David Wilson Homes and now running his own consultancy). <br> <br> “It was a great success and will be repeated next year – if you’re interested in coming please let me know,” said Healey. <br> <br> He can be contacted at paul_e_healey@hotmail.com
