NHQB appoints senior team

<p><span>The New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) has made senior appointments <span>as it moves to full operational stage</span> with the launch of a New Homes Ombudsman Service (NHOS) <span>for developers and customers expected by the summer.</span></span></p> <p><span>Leon Livermore, former chief executive of the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI), has been picked as ceo, <span>starting this month</span>. He was boss of the CTSI for eight years from February 2013 and has since been consulting in the public policy and regulatory sectors. Livermore’s career has been characterised by <span>customer service and consumer matters.</span></span></p> <p><span>Rob Brighouse replaces Natalie Elphicke <span>OBE </span>as chair. He has extensive executive and non-executive experience in the rail sector and has operated at the most senior levels of government. Brighouse is senior independent director of Network Rail board and founding chair of the East West Railway Company.</span></p> <p><span>He will replace Elphicke at the NHQB’s April board meeting.
