NHBC is supporting a government funded project to look at the consistency of the process of designing cover systems for developing contaminated land. <p></p><p>The research will provide guidance for the risk-based design of cover layers at sites where marginally contaminated land will be developed for housing.</p><p>The work is being carried out by the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental specialists with the BRE.</p><p></p>
