NHBC reveals Pride in the Job Quality winners

<p><span>NHBC has announced its Quality Award winners as part of its flagship Pride in the Job competition.</span></p> <p><span>In the first round of the Pride in the Job Awards 2021, from a field of more than 10,000, </span><span>450 site managers have won a Quality Award, representing the top 5% of those who entered the competition.</span></p> <p><span>Launched in 1980, Pride in the Job, NHBC said, was “the most highly regarded competition in the housebuilding industry”. The current competition began in July 2020 with each site manager assessed across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety. </span></p> <p><span>The awards celebrate the “very best” site managers in the UK, with the competition highlighting the vital role of site managers “in ensuring new homes are delivered on time, on safe sites and to exacting construction quality standards”. </span></p> <p><span>Pride in the Job has three builder-sized categories: small, medium and large housebuilders, and a multi-storey category for site managers delivering schemes of five storeys or more.</span></p> <p><span>The winners of the Quality Awards will be put forward to compete for the Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards in the autumn.
