<p>NHBC has launched its Residential Construction Statistics portal, providing instant access to the latest information on the housing market.</p> <p><span>The new home warranty and insurance provider said the self-service data portal had been developed from customer feedback to help keep the industry informed “when making key decisions”.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>The new data portal harnesses data from more than 1 million annual inspections of schemes nationwide, giving “</span><span>unparalleled access to residential construction knowledge and insight”. NHBC explained that users would be able to track the pace of construction through weekly registrations, starts and completions, with access also granted to extensive historical data, geographical breakdowns, visualisation tools and custom views.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>NHBC is offering its Residential Construction Statistics portal at three levels according to business size and the granularity of data needed.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>Anders Harrison, NHBC’s data consultancy manager, said: “We’ve carefully considered feedback from current users of NHBC data and retained all the elements that support decision-making, but we’ve also improved areas where people wanted heightened usability and functionality, and incorporated further features.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>“We’re proud of what we’ve developed in the Residential Construction Statistics portal and I’m confident it will prove an essential tool for planning, analysis and to support the housebuilding industry during these …
