NHBC is freezing its fees on all of its key services until at least March 31 2014 in order to support the housebuilding industry.<br> <br> The price freeze applies to services including warranty products, building control services and registration fees. NHBC has also dropped its resolution charge of £350 for each visit in response to a 60% decrease in the number of requests to resolve disputes between housebuilders and home owners over the period 2008 to 2012. This means that NHBC will not charge for resolutions that pre-date January 1 2013 and will issue refunds for charges made since the start of the year. NHBC's ceo Mike Quinton said: "We want to do everything we can to support the industry."
