<p><span>NHBC has announced its Quality Award winners as part of its flagship Pride in the Job competition, which honours the very best UK site managers.</span></p><p><span> </span><span>In the first round of the Pride in the Job Awards 2022, 443 site managers have scooped a Quality Award from a field of more than 8,000, representing the top 5% of those who entered the competition, in a reflection of “their commitment to the delivery of top quality new homes,” NHBC said.</span></p><p><span>Launched more than 40 years ago, Pride in the Job “is the most highly regarded competition in the housebuilding industry and a prestigious benchmark for exceptional site managers,” NHBC commented.</span></p><p><span>The rigorous judging process for the current competition began in July last year. Each site manager is assessed across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety. NHBC said that thousands of site inspections and “meticulous scoring and verification” had been undertaken to arrive at the winners.</span></p><p><span>The new homes warranty and insurance provider also said that Pride in the Job was “at the heart of NHBC’s core purpose to raise standards in housebuilding”.
