<b></b><b>Recruitment website</b><br> To meet the ever increasing demand of housebuilding companies to recruit staff via the internet, HouseBuilder is launching a dedicated recruitment service via its website. The site, which will be updated each week, will be available from the first week in January. <p></p><p><b><b>Awards aplenty</b></b><br><i>HouseBuilder&’s</i> Jeremy Gates has won this year&’s Halifax/Laing trade journalist of the year award for three articles written for the magazine on Setting up your own business, Industry restructuring and Retirement housing. It is the fourth year in a row that a HouseBuilder writer has taken the award.</p><p><b><b>Tarmac to buy</b></b><br> Tarmac is set to buy fellow block maker Durox in a deal likely to be examined by the OFT.
