Lee Rowley, MP for North East Derbyshire, has been appointed housing and planning minister in the new Liz Truss government.

Rowley was confirmed as a minister in the Department of Levelling Up, Homes and Communities on September 7th, but his portfolio was only confirmed yesterday after the period of mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth.
