New Homes Week 2009 – what’s involved

New Homes Week 2009 will take place from September 12 to September 20. The consumer focused initiative is a repeat of the successful campaigns in 2005 and 2006 and aims to promote the benefits of buying a new home and encourage people to visit housebuilder’s sites and show homes. Whilst the NHMB will be co-ordinating the week, its success will depend upon industry buy-in and it is encouraging members to undertake events and initiatives on their sites to generate interest and get local communities involved. A range of literature and marketing materials will be produced by the NHMB and be available for participants. This will include posters, leaflets highlighting the benefits of new homes over old, and a 16 page glossy A3 newspaper packed full of editorial about new homes.
