New homes quality champion Natalie Elphicke will address the industry at next month's HBF Policy Conference in London.
Elphicke, who also became MP for Dover in December's election, has been independently appointed to the role of champion and is charged with taking forward discussions on the implementation of new homes quality reforms - specifically including the new homes ombudsman. Elphicke will update the industry on progress in this important area.
The conference will seek to make sense of the many challenges facing the industry and will include an expert panel, chaired by HBF managing director Neil Jefferson, on The Challenges for the Housebuilding Industry, bringing the key issues together and seeking to paint a clear picture of the route ahead.
HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley will look at the big picture, while Mark Aedy, managing director of investment bank Moelis and Company, will give the City view in the second annual John Stewart Memorial Lecture in memory of HBF’s former and long serving director of economic affairs.
Lucian Cook, director of residential research at Savills, will join forces with associate director Emily Williams to look at the market ahead, while Richard Donnell, research and insight director at Zoopla, will focus on the industry …
