London mayor Ken Livingstone and the London Development Agency have announced plans to build a 300-home development aimed at first time buyers at Gallions Reach, in the Royal Docks east of Canary Wharf. Homes will be sold on a shared ownership basis. The 1.35ha waterside site forms part of Gallions Approach, a major scheme of more than 2,500 homes with retail and business space.
