Natural England chief executive Marian Spain will join an Expert Panel at this year’s Housing Market Intelligence Conference in London this autumn discussing “The opportunities and challenges of meeting today’s sustainability and environmental demands”.
She will join fellow panellists Bukky Bird, group sustainability director at Barratt Redrow; Future Homes Hub chief executive Ed Lockhart; and Bargate Homes managing director Mark White. They will be asked to give their views on this key issue, with the discussion moderated by journalist and broadcaster Simon Jack.
The panel will be one of two on the day, the other looking at delivering the 1.5 million new homes target. They will run alongside a full agenda of keynote speakers, including Gráinne Gilmore, director of research and insights, Cluttons; Neil Jefferson, chief executive of the Home Builders Federation; Matthew Spry, senior director at planning consultant Lichfields; and Sunday Times economics editor David Smith.
