Mumford & Wood showcases timber window guides at Ecobuild 2012

In addition to the recently launched The Guide – a brochure featuring window, door and garden room installations in both commercial and domestic projects – the company has introduced its Technical Guide for timber window specification. Available on the Wood Window Alliance stand S1830 at Ecobuild, together with premier products from the company’s Conservation range, the Guides are available to visitors free of charge on request. <br> <br> Mumford &amp; Wood says that the Technical Guide is an extensive and informative tool detailing the many bespoke options and patterns of sash, box and historic box sash windows, entrance doors, French doors, casement and feature windows and bi-fold doors in the company’s Conservation range. <br> <br> Products in the Contemporary range, which are designed for today’s crisp and modular architectural style, include casement windows, entrance and French doors, tilt turn windows and balcony doors, as well as the increasingly popular low maintenance tilt turn alu-clad windows and bi-fold doorsets. A triple glazed option, achieving a U-value from as little as 0.8 is also available, and meets Passivhaus standards.<br> <br>
