Miller appoints chief operating officer

<p><span>Miller Homes has promoted Stewart Lynes to the newly created role of chief operating officer.</span></p><p><span>Lynes starts his new role with immediate effect, with the new position set to bolster the housebuilder’s executive leadership team as it continues to pursue its ambitious growth strategy, Miller said.</span></p><p><span>Reporting to ceo Chris Endsor, Lynes will be responsible for the implementation of the company’s agreed strategy, including land acquisitions and housebuilding operations.</span></p><p><span>Lynes joined Miller in 2008 as its commercial director, being promoted to operations director three years later. He became md for Scotland in 2013, taking on the north England division in addition in 2018.</span></p><p><span>Lynes has amassed 18 years’ experience in the housebuilding sector, previously working for several large housebuilders.
