<p>Lord Digby Jones heads a strong line up of speakers at this year's Housing Market Intelligence conference which has been announced today.</p> <p>Lord Jones will address the audience on the importance of the industry to the UK economy and the drive to increase housing supply while challenging housebuilders to excel in all aspects of new homes delivery.</p> <p>The line up for the conference in London on October 6 also includes Taylor Wimpey chief executive Pete Redfern, who will speak about the findings of the Redfern Review into home ownership, and Redrow chief executive John Tutte who will update delegates on the Home Building Skills Partnership and the drive to recruit new talent into the industry.</p> <p>Also the conference will see an expert panel debating issues around Affordable Housing and Starter Homes, with panellists including L&amp;Q chief executive David Montague and Savills director Jim Ward.</p> <p>As ever, the conference will see the launch of the annual HMI report which contains the Top 75 housebuilding listing and a mass of information and analysis on the UK housebuilding sector.
