Linden Homes, Galliford Try's housebuilding business, has appointed Andrew Richards as its new group md for housebuilding as of July 1 2013.<br> <br> Richards (below) was previously md for the investment division at GT where he directed activities in renewables and public private partnerships (PPPs). He was picked for his strong financial background and ability to deliver "exceptional" financial and operational results in a competitive market.<br> <br> Now Richards will oversee all of Linden's business operations across the UK. He will be supported by Linden's operational and executive management team as well as former group md Ian Baker, who will guide Richards through the handover process until November 2013. At this point, Baker will step down from the business.
