<b><b>Jeremy Gates talks to John Anderson, managing director of Taywood Lifestyle, about the future for the company following the Bryant deal</b></b><br><b><b></b>In the latest annual report from Taylor Woodrow there is only a passing mention of the concept which could be about to open up a new sector in the housing market. </b><br><b><b>Mothballing the mantra</b></b><br> John Anderson, managing director of Taywood Lifestyle, says it may be time to mothball the old mantra of &"location, location and location&".<p></p><p> &"For buyers who are experiencing a changing lifestyle,&" he reasons, &"with more leisure time and a desire to enjoy that time, other priorities may be just as important.</p><p> Specifically, these are security, low maintenance and convenience.&" </p><p>The focus groups have spoken, the new prototype carefully pieced together over two or three years of in-depth market research. More than £25m has gone into land acquisitions and Taywood Lifestyle should have 15 projects under construction by the autumn. </p><p>All will be south of Milton Keynes and plenty are tucked into some of the best addresses in the south east: Weybridge, Guildford, Sunningdale, Walton-on-Thames, Stanmore, Upminster. Lifestyle sales should climb from 150 this year to 250-plus next, at an average price of around £200,000.</p><p> Anderson stresses that …
