Leadbitter wins first contracts under the Integrate framework in Wales

The Leadbitter Group has won two new contracts as part of the Integrate Consortium framework in Wales. The four-year framework, created by a consortium of seven housing associations, invites contractors to tender for new build housing contracts across Wales.<br> <br> Newydd Housing Association, part of the consortium, appointed Leadbitter as contractor on the first two projects to be released under the framework and the company will start work in early 2012.<br> <br> Leadbitter will construct 24 houses on Rose Row in Aberdare and a further four homes in Elfed Avenue in Penarth, which will be built to the Code for Sustainable Homes level five. These energy efficient houses will support the Integrate Consortium objective to secure better value for money and greater sustainability in the development of housing.<br> <br> Leadbitter will also be working with the Integrate Consortium to maximise opportunities for jobs and training through its community engagement<br> programme.
