The Leadbitter Group is celebrating a hat trick of Gold awards from the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).<br> <br> In addition, the company's project at Mount Wise in Plymouth won not only a Gold award, but was runner up in the scheme's coveted Most Considerate Site of the Year award, the company says.<br> <br> The Mount Wise scheme comprises 159 Georgian inspired mixed tenure homes and is part of the Devonport regeneration area. Leadbitter was noted particularly for its community engagement programme.<br> <br> At Devonport Extra Care, where Leadbitter has built 42 one and two bedroom extra care flats on behalf of Devon and Cornwall Housing Association in partnership with Plymouth City Council, the team was praised for its extensive support for local charities and activities such as offering the local fire brigade the opportunity to practice high level rescues from the site crane and then incorporating this into a social event for neighbours and local schools to enjoy from a safe distance.<br> <br> Newport's Mariners Quay housing development completed Leadbitter's golden hat trick.
