<p>Linden Homes was crowned large Housebuilder of the Year at the 2013 Housebuilder Awards at a packed ceremony in London last night (November 7). In a great night for Linden, the firm was also named the Sustainable Housebuilder of the Year .</p> <p>Telford Homes won medium sized Housebuilder of the Year, and also picked up the award for Best design (four storeys or more) for its Matchmakers Wharf development in London.</p> <p>Best small Housebuilder of the Year was awarded to St Modwen which had earlier picked up the Best design (three storeys or fewer) for Locking Parklands in Weston-super-Mare.</p> <p>Nearly 500 people squeezed into the The Tower Hotel near Tower Bridge to hear impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw announce this year&rsquo;s winners of the Awards.</p> <p>Morris Homes&rsquo; Vista scheme in Peterborough won the award for Best low or zero carbon initiative, while Berkeley won Best regeneration project for Kidbrooke Village in south east London.</p> <p>Liverpool Habitat for Humanity won Best community initiative for its Granby-Toxteth Liverpool project and L&amp;Q secured the Best marketing category for its PricedIn initiative.</p> <p>Barratt London&rsquo;s Residential Asset Management was named the Best customer satisfaction initiative while Blue Cedar Homes took the Best retirement scheme gong for Cedar Gardens in Taunton.</p> <p>In the Best product category Keystone&rsquo;s Hi-Therm Sustainability Lintel led the way while Pantera Carpentry (SE) won the new category of Subcontractor of the year.</p> <p>Full details of the Housebuilder awards 2013 can be found at <a href="../../">www.house-builder.co.uk</a></p>
