Induction is an energy efficient, safe cooking method based on induction coils under a ceramic glass surface producing electro-magnetic fields, which induce heat-producing currents in the base of cookware while the hob remains cool. The heating system is triggered by the pan size, so if removed, transfer immediately ceases. 80cm, 60cm and 30cm wide models are available, and all feature sensor touch pad controls with large LED displays.
