Almost the full range of architectural aluminium systems from Kawneer has been used on the redevelopment of a Jersey hotel into exclusive apartments. <br> <br> Kawneer’s AA100 curtain walling, AA601 top-hung casement and AA603 tilturn windows and AA605 low/medium duty swing doors feature extensively on The Carlton development of new build apartments, formerly the site of the 48- bedroomed Carlton Hotel, in St Clements Bay, St Helier. <br> <br> The Kawneer systems were installed, some curved on plan down to a 1,051 mm radius rather than the usual 90º corners, over eight weeks by approved contractor AB Glass, who are the first UK-based company to achieve the Jersey Eco-Active Business accreditation, for main contractor Larsen Building Contractors.<br>
