A range of windows and doors future-proofed to 2019 has been launched in the UK by architectural aluminium systems supplier Kawneer.<br> <br> The AA720 series comprises doors in the following styles: tilturn, inward-opening sidehung and bottom-hung, tilt slide, vertical and horizontal pivot, top-hung casement, inward and outward-opening, folding/sliding and a fire-rated door and fixed light.<br> <br> It is the manufacturer's most comprehensively flexible product range to date, and with U-values as low as 0.9 is set to outperform the anticipated requirements of the 2013 and 2016 Part L amendments to Building Regulations, the company says.<br> <br> The windows are available in four levels of thermal performance – the AA720, AA720 HW, AA720 HI and AA 720 HIPlus. The series of wider 72mm profiles incorporates the very latest thermal technology including extruded polyamide and ABS thermal breaks, insulated centre seals, foam isolators and foam core insulation.<br> <br> The doors are available in two levels of thermal performance – the AA720 and the AA720 HI.
