Johnson & Starley explains efficiency heat recovery

Sept. 1, 2010
New literature is now available from Johnson & Starley covering the company’s SAP Appendix Q listed high efficiency heat recovery ventilation unit for domestic applications. It is capable of efficiency up to 95% in heat recovery and this has been achieved with the inclusion of a counterflow heat exchanger. Additional energy efficient operation has also been achieved with the inclusion of EC fan motors.

The literature provides full technical specifications including details of the installer’s commissioning panel which allows infinitely variable air extract rates to be set accurately to give close control of air supply and extraction rates. This is essential to provide the correct balance between heating and ventilation. For boost activation and summer mode settings, a number of optional controls are available to the occupier.

www.johnsonandstarley.co.uk or enter E0447 on the reader enquiry card
