Jenrick heads line-up at online HBF Policy Conference

<p>Housing secretary Robert Jenrick will lead a strong line up of speakers at this year’s HBF Policy Conference which will be held online on Thursday May 27.</p> <p><span>Jenrick’s input will be particularly valuable to delegates, with myriad government policies set to affect the industry. These include the environment, quality, design, planning and building safety.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>Stewart Baseley, HBF’s executive chairman, will set the scene from the industry’s standpoint, describing how the sector is responding to the various challenges with initiatives such as the Future Homes Taskforce and the New Homes Quality Board.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>Mark Aedy, managing director of investment bank Moelis &amp; Co, will offer the City’s view on the new homes sector and the outlook for the challenging times ahead. And Lucian Cook, Savills’ head of residential research, and Connells’ ceo David Livesey will discuss what might lay in store for the new homes and second hand market.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>Rosie Toogood, ceo of Legal &amp; General Modular Homes, will discuss the journey to developing the company’s modular home portfolio.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>HBF members can attend the conference for free.
