Jeld-Wen reveals low U-value composite doorset range

Jeld-Wen has released a new range of low Uvalue composite doorsets, known as DreamVu. The range is designed to help developers and specifiers achieve energy efficiency and meet the higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes.<br> <br> Jeld-Wen’s DreamVu 68 composite doorsets are 68mm thick and will deliver U-values down to 0.7, the company claims. Building on the popularity with specifiers of Jeld-Wen’s high performance DreamVu window range, these doorsets are double weather-sealed to counteract the effects of wind-driven rain. The doorsets also feature one seal integrated within the frame and one within the door. <br> <br> Jeld-wen claims that its composite doorsets offer six times the thermal performance of other materials, as well as providing a robust finish. The doorsets are manufactured from high performance GRP, which will not splinter or dent.<br> <br>
