Neil Jefferson has been appointed to the main board of NHBC in the newly-created role of customer and business development director.<br> <br> Jefferson, who is also ceo of the Zero Carbon Hub, will look after NHBC's key builder customer relationships, Technical Standards and research and innovation.<br> <br> "I am very much looking forward to working more closely with the industry, taking the opportunity to develop areas and initiatives of mutual benefit to both home builders and consumers," said Jefferson.<br> <br> NHBC's executive chairman Isabel Hudson welcomed the appointment: "Neil is a long-serving, experienced and influential member of NHBC whose extensive knowledge of the industry along with his recent work at the Hub will undoubtedly provide additional strength to NHBC's executive team."<br> <br> Meanwhile NHBC is continuing its search for a new ceo following the departure of Imtiaz Farookhi in February.
