A number of customers have contacted JB Kind, concerned about the validity of fire doors purchased from other door suppliers. In some cases the fire certification supplied has been for an entirely different door.<br> <br> JB Kind's fire door specialist Gary Crew explains: "There seems to be a lot of confusion as to the standards that a fire door should reach, as well as how to check they have been met. Specifications may require the door to be a different size, perhaps with glazing or ironmongery that is not as tested.<br> <br> "These variations can only be allowed if covered by an assessment report issued by the approving body.
