IronmongeryDirect, the UK’s online and mail order supplier of ironmongery products, has announced its 2011 year end results which saw turnover rise to £15million, up 20% on 2010. <br> <br> Profits also increased to £1.25million, a 25% increase. The company says that in addition to weathering the tough economic conditions in the UK construction industry, it has tackled its own challenge of relocating the business whilst producing impressive results. <br> <br> Managing director Wayne Lysaght-Mason (pictured) comments: “This is now our seventh consecutive year of growth. We invested heavily last year, with a move to larger premises and implemented new business management software systems.” <br> <br> The move to 50,000 sq ft premises in Basildon, Essex along with new business management software in 2011, represents an investment of more than £2.5 million.<br> <br>
