Inland’s md leaves “with immediate effect”

<p>Inland Homes’ group managing director Gary Skinner has left the business “with immediate effect”.</p> <p>The housebuilder and brownfield developer gave no further detail on Skinner’s departure, only stating that his employment with the company had “terminated” yesterday (April 5) and accordingly, he had stepped down from the board.</p> <p>Skinner joined Inland in 2016, after previously spending nine years at Willmott Dixon. </p> <p><span>Separately, Inland announced two land sales. It has sold the former Telephone Exchange in Staines, where the business achieved planning consent <span class="bn">for 206 homes in January, and phase 3 at Gardiners Park Village, Basildon, consisting of 74 units. Both have been sold to private housebuilders. The former has an estimated gross development value of £65 million and the latter an estimated GDV of £27.5 million.</span></span></p> <p><span class="bn"><span> </span></span><span>Inland secured planning consent at Gardiners Park Village last October for a residential-led, mixed-use scheme of up to 700 homes and 25,000 sqm of commercial space.</span></p> <p><span class="bn"><span>Stephen Wicks, Inland’s ceo, said: </span></span><span class="br"><i><span>"</span></i></span><span class="br"><span>We are delighted to have achieved these two land sales following receipt of planning consent. </span></span><span></span></p> <p><span><span class="br">"Demand for our quality land assets remains strong, with Inland owning and managing a land portfolio which is attractive …
