Inland in line with year-end expectations

<p><span>Inland Homes has seen a “strong” second half to its financial year, with turnover for its housebuilding division more than doubling for the full year against 2020.</span></p> <p><span>Issuing a trading update ahead of the reporting of its results for the year ending September 30 2021, the brownfield developer, housebuilder and regeneration specialist said its performance was set to be in line with market expectations. Overall turnover was at a “record” </span><span>£195 million against last year’s £124 million.</span></p> <p><span>During the period, the company’s housebuilding arm achieved turnover of around </span><span>£56.5 million against the £23.8 million of the previous year, although this was a pandemic-affected period.</span></p> <p><span>The housing turnover rise reflected the strong demand for Inland’s “high quality, affordably priced homes,” the business said. It completed 216 private homes at an average selling price of £262,000 (September 30 2020: 96 private homes at an average selling price of £240,000).</span></p><p><span>This “strong sales performance” saw 383 homes completed in total - including 167 in joint ventures - against 226 as of September 30 2020.
