Inland co-founder leaves

<p><span class="k"><span>Inland Homes’ Nishith Malde has retired from the company, after the business announced his intention to leave on July 24.</span></span><span class="k"><span></span></span></p><p><span class="k"><span>Following a handover period after <a href="http://www.house-builder.co.uk/news/inland-appoints-jolyon-harrison-ceo">Jolyon Harrison’s appointment as new ceo in July</a>, Malde, who was Inland’s interim ceo and chief financial officer, has retired as a director of the group. But he will remain available in an advisory role for 12 months.</span></span><span class="k"><span></span></span></p><p><span class="k"><span>Harrison, who takes over after a period of upheaval for the business, is in the process of establishing his own executive team, including searching for a new chief financial officer. Inland’s board currently consists of four directors, two of whom are chartered accountants. </span></span><span class="k"><span></span></span></p><p><span class="k"><span>The new ceo has more than 50 years’ housebuilding experience. Harrison </span></span><span>was Gleeson’s ceo between October 2014 and June 2019. Previously to this, he was md of Gleeson Homes.</span></p><p><span>In July, he commented that it would take “a while” to turn the Buckinghamshire-based brownfield developer, housebuilder and partnership housing company around, which he is planning to refocus on Northern England after agreeing heads of terms to acquire NorthCountry which builds low cost homes.</span><span></span></p><p>On August 30, Inland Homes stated that it stood to breach the covenants of a loan and …
