Industry innovators line up for prestigious awards

<p>The most innovative names in the housebuilding industry have been shortlisted for accolades in the <b>2006 Housebuilding Innovation Awards. </b>The winners will be announced on October 10.</p> <p>This year’s list includes volume developers Wimpey, Barratt, Persimmon and Berkeley, alongside a number of smaller housebuilders, architects and suppliers.</p> <p>“The awards are a celebration of the achievements of the best, and a inspiration to the rest to aim higher,”said Baroness Andrews, parliamentary under secretary of state for housing.</p><b> <p>Berkeley Homes East Thames Tabard Square Development in London, designed by architect Rolfe Judd (pictured) has been shortlisted for Best design initiative/partnership with an architect. </p> </b><p><b></b><b>For the full shortlist, which was published on June14, go to <a href='\"/news\"'>www.house-builder.co.uk/news</a></b></p>
