Industry to debate key issues at HBF Conference

The housebuilding industry is to come together to discuss the key issues facing the sector as the HBF Policy Conference returns on May 12th at One Wimpole Street in London.

Experts will assess the impact of the major challenges facing the industry, including the road to net zero, building safety, quality and planning.

Homes England chairman Peter Freeman will discuss the work of HE and how it can partner with industry to increase the supply of quality new homes in England. Connells Group ceo David Livesey and Lucian Cook, director of residential research at Savills, will give their individual views of the housing sector and new homes market, while Mark Aedy, head of EMEA and Asia at Moelis & Co, will provide insight in terms of how the sector is perceived by the City and investors.

With so many significant issues facing the new homes sector this year, HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley will give the strategic overview of what is happening, what government initiatives mean for the sector and the likely implications for housebuilders of a range of challenges.
