<br/>Plans have been submitted for a residential scheme in Back Lane, Long Lawford in Rugby. The scheme, for JS Bloor (Northampton) has been designed by <b>Hammonds Yates Partnership</b> and will comprise the construction of 118 houses and flats. Works are expected to start late 2005. <p></p><p>Sale-based <b>Fairclough Homes</b> has started construction of 44 houses at the former Weatherhead High School site at Coronation Avenue in Wallasey. The £3 million scheme is expected to be completed within 15 months. </p><p><b>Bestway Developments</b> is planning to build 118 apartments and sheltered apartments at Pirnhow Street, Bungay. The design team are KLH Architects and Davis Langdon. Tenders have been invited and returned and a contractor is to be appointed shortly. </p><p>Birmingham City Council is considering a proposal for <b>David Mclean Homes</b> to build 171 flats at the Masshouse site at Birmingham City Centre. The £8.5 million project is expected to receive planning permission shortly as construction is scheduled to start January 2005. </p><p><b>Bloor Homes</b> is waiting for planning permission to build 451 houses for Phase II at Wheatpieces, Ridgeway Lane in Tewkesbury.
