Design and Build contractor <b>Drew Smith Homes </b>is to commence demolition work during October on the site at 84-88 Kingston Crescent, for Portsmouth Housing Association. The scheme is to demolish the existing buildings and construct a block of 26 flats. <p></p><p><b>West Devon Homes </b>has invited tenders from interested contractors for a development at Monksmead, Tavistock. The tenders are due for return in the first week of October and construction is scheduled to commence in early, 2005 on the 14 houses. </p><p><b>Walker Group </b>has submitted a planning proposal for the construction of 84 houses at West Windygoul, Tranent. The £4.4 million scheme is set to start on site February 2005. </p><p><b>Moorfield Developments </b>has received planning approval to build 26 luxury houses. The £1.5 million scheme at Lodge Lane in Sheffield is hoping to commence on site early 2005. </p><p><b>Southvale Homes (Scotland)</b> has been given the green light for the construction of ten houses at Park Road in Lanark. The start date has been pencilled in for late October 2004 and has an estimated construction value of £550,000. </p><p><b>Cala Homes (Scotland)</b> has had planning success for a proposal to build 42 houses.
