Ian Hoad, divisional chairman of Keepmoat, has been promoted to chief executive of the company.
Hoad succeeds Tim Beale, who steps down as ceo after eight years with the business.
Hoad, who will take up his new role on July 1, initially joined Keepmoat in 1996, staying with the business for five years. He then worked for other major housebuilders – including Fairclough Homes and Bovis - before rejoining Keepmoat in 2009, working in roles including technical director and regional director. In 2019, he was promoted to divisional chairman.
Beale said that “after careful consideration”, he was leaving his role. “I am delighted that the board has appointed Ian Hoad, divisional chairman for Scotland, the North East and Yorkshire East, to be my successor. I am confident that under his leadership the business will continue to go from strength to strength. I will remain with the business over the coming months to ensure a seamless transition.”
