Strong sales rates continue for housebuilders, with Barratt experiencing its strongest spring selling season in five years.<br> <br> The volume housebuilder achieved 248 average weekly net private reservations over the period January 1 to May 6 2012, up 25.3% against the same period in 2011<br> <br> Sales at Linden Homes are up a third since the start of the year. The housebuilder recorded 0.6 sales per site per week since the turn of the year compared to 0.45 last year, and current sales reserved, contracted or completed stand at £774 million compared to £540 million in 2011.<br> <br> Meanwhile, Bovis Homes' visitor numbers have more than doubled over the period January 1 to May 16 against the same period in 2011.
