The Housebuilder Awards 2022

<p>Barratt was declared Large housebuilder of the year at The Housebuilder Awards 2022 last night as the industry came together to honour the best in the UK new homes sector.</p> <p>Out of other strong contenders, volume housebuilder Barratt was praised for its performance in four categories, including a win in the Best refurbishment project category which saw it imaginatively restore the Nestlé apartments of Hayes village. </p> <p>Actor and comedian Sir Lenny Henry hosted the event at The InterContinental The O2 which was attended by almost 700 guests.</p> <p>The Hill Group and St Modwen were crowned joint Medium housebuilders of the year. Hill impressed across three categories, lifting the Best sustainability initiative gong (a new category) for The Villas at Knights Park in Eddington and winning Best community initiative for its SoloHaus project, housing the homeless. Meanwhile, St Modwen landed the Best regeneration initiative award for Glan Llyn in Newport and scooped the Design for four storeys or more award for the Dice in Uxbridge.</p> <p>Small housebuilder of the year was Castle Green Homes, applauded for winning the Best customer satisfaction initiative award for Willow – its bespoke customer portal.</p> <p>Fellow SME Thakeham Homes won the Best staff development award …
