Hotpoint introduces high definition cooling

Hotpoint has launched a new generation of fridge freezers featuring Active Oxygen technology which it says helps food keep its "first day freshness" for longer.<br> <br> The new Active Oxygen fridge freezers from Hotpoint offer consumers "High Definition cooling". They use technology to create a natural aerating process, with pure air that keeps food looking, tasting and smelling fresher for up to nine days, the company claims.<br> <br> Hotpoint explains that Active Oxygen uses trioxygen (O3) molecules, well known for their ability to inhibit and slow bacteria growth, to preserve food. By releasing these natural molecules into the fridge, fresh food that has been stored for nine days will have up to 90% less bacterial growth and bad odours will be reduced by up to 70%, according to Hotpoint.<br> <br> The A+ rated built-in HM31AAE has a 70:30 fridge to freezer configuration, Hygiene + antibacterial protection built into the fridge liners and Super Cool/Super Freeze functions to keep food fresh and full of flavour, says Hotpoint.
