Honey submits plans for first development

<p><span>New housebuilder Honey has submitted plans for its first scheme in South Normanton, Derbyshire.</span></p> <p><span>The housebuilder, fronted by former Avant Homes ceo Mark Mitchell and launched in October, is seeking planning permission for a £14 million scheme, named Amber, of 50 new two to four bedroom homes.</span></p> <p><span>Amber will comprise 14 house types which, Honey said, would combine “style, substance and sustainability for the benefit of buyers”. It also said it had created the house type designs from analysing consumer insights and trends “to ensure they meet the needs and wants of today’s new home buyers, including the flexible use of all living spaces”.</span></p> <p><span>If the housebuilder receives permission for the site from Bolsover District Council, construction is likely to start in the spring, with the first residents expected to move in at the end of the year. Honey said that under the scheme it would also contribute £160,000 to local community initiatives.</span></p> <p><span>Honey’s standard home features will include bi-fold doors, individually-designed fully integrated kitchens and “boutique-style” bathrooms including free-standing baths and full height tiling.</span></p> <p><span>All homes will have an electric vehicle charging point and be built to the Future Homes Standard, Honey said.</span></p> <p><span>Mark Mitchell commented: “We have worked …
