Homes England interim chief executive Eamonn Boylan is to address the new homes industry at this year’s HBF Policy Conference in London in March.
Boylan took up the role in January, saying he was “ready to deliver on the government’s goal of delivering 1.5 million new homes during this parliament”.
He will speak to delegates about Homes England’s vital role in working with the industry to deliver new homes, a task reinforced by housing minister Matthew Pennycook last year in a letter to HE chair Peter Freeman. Pennycook said he expected Homes England “to do everything in its power to accelerate development and increase (new homes) delivery”.
Government chief planner Joanna Averley will also address the conference just three months after the publication of the new National Planning Policy Framework. Other speakers include Lloyds Banking Group md Intermediaries Esther Dijkstra, New Homes Quality Board ceo Emma Toms and Mark Aedy, md at global investment bank Moelis & Company, who will take a City view of the sector.
